Latest Situation in Arakan by October 27, 2012

Recently, around 1000 Rohingya were killed in Minbyar, Myebone, Mrauk-U, Kyaukpru Townships of Arakan State. The Rohingyas are completely innocent, defenseless, voiceless Rohingya minority of Arakan State. Children are dieing without foods and drinks, women are drowning into the sea, while overall populations are starving under the sky as their houses and all kinds are shelters were burnt down by the Rakhine people who are being backed by the Burmese security forces.

According to latest information, 16 boatload of Rohingya vulnerable jumped into the sea from Kyaukpru township. They were stuck by Burmese navy in the sea. Having this information, some people from Akyab (Sittwe) went there to recuse. Rohingyas from Akyab rescued them paying 30,00,000 of bribe. Only 2 boats could reached at Akyab coast but the rest 14 boats were again stuck in the sea. Those who managed to reach to the coast were also arrested by security forces and not allowing to go anywhere. In such situation, 5 children were died without food and water but no report is coming to the world.

 

Burmese military forces are showing Hippocratic sympathies towards the Rohingya victims through distributing little foods in some areas, which are not enough for 1 time meal.

 

So, the innocent Rohingyas are very much in need of urgent assistance to save these vulnerable.
